Makan

Property management without the operational mess.

Makan brings building operations — bookings, units, tenants, contracts, payments and financial visibility — into a single system. Built for property owners and operators who need one clear place to run the day to day.

Makan's dashboard — income, expenses, net profit and the latest bookings in one view.

The operational problem

Property operations tend to spread out. Bookings live in messages, contracts get rewritten from an old document each time, unit availability is held in someone's head, and the financial picture only appears when someone sits down to reconstruct it.

What Makan does about it

Makan brings that workflow into one system. A booking, the unit it occupies, the tenant it belongs to, the contract it produces and the money it brings in are all the same record — so the operational view and the financial view never drift apart.

What Makan manages

One system for the day-to-day running of a building

Bookings

Add a booking against a unit, tenant and set of dates. Overlapping dates are rejected before the booking is saved, so the same unit can't be promised twice.

Units

Every unit in the building with its current state — vacant or occupied — and whether it runs on daily, monthly or annual terms.

Tenants

Tenant records held against the units and bookings they belong to, instead of scattered across messages and paper files.

Contracts

A complete rental contract generated as a PDF from the booking details — ready to print or send, without rewriting it each time.

Income & expenses

Money in and money out recorded as it happens, so the financial picture is a by-product of daily work rather than a separate exercise.

Multiple buildings

More than one property in a single account, each with its own bookings, contracts and reporting, switched between in one step.

Bookings and tenants

A booking is created against a unit and a tenant for a set of dates. Makan checks the dates against what the unit already has before saving, which is what stops the same apartment being booked to two people at once.

Check-in and check-out are recorded on the booking, so the current state of every unit follows from real activity rather than from someone remembering to update a list.

Contracts, without the retyping

The details already captured in a booking are enough to produce a full rental contract. Makan generates it as a PDF ready to print or send on — removing the step where a contract gets rebuilt by hand from an older one, with whatever gets missed along the way.

Every booking against its unit, dates, nights, total and status.
Unit availability at a glance — vacant or occupied, and on daily, monthly or annual terms.
Contracts generated from the booking — each one ready to print or send.

Financial visibility as a by-product

Income and expenses are recorded against the operation as it runs, so profit for a period is something the system already knows rather than something to work out later. A printable financial report comes from the same records.

Staff and multiple properties

A staff member can be given access to run bookings and contracts without seeing the financial side. And where an owner holds more than one building, each is managed in the same account with its own records — switched between in a single step.

Makan is live, and you can see it for yourself.
